PHOENIX—Kurt W. Rosene, formerly senior vice president of The Alter Group, has transitioned to his new role as head of NOVO Development, LLC, headquartered in Scottsdale. Although leaving as a full-time employee of The Alter Group, Rosene will continue to assist The Alter Group's western region developments, including its signature Phoenix development, Riverwalk Arizona, a 176-acre mixed-use business park in Scottsdale. Michael J. Alter, president of The Alter Group, made the announcement.
“We are excited for Kurt who spent 24 years with our company,” says Alter. “During this period, he established himself as one of the nation's premier development experts with an extraordinary mix of transactional acumen and the ability to shepherd large, complex mixed-use developments across multiple business cycles.”
“I have had an incredible experience with The Alter Group,” says Rosene. ”Although the timing is right to move on to my own company, I look forward to contining to assist The Alter Group with many of their developments here in the Valley and I look forward to continuing our strong working relationship.”
The Alter Group projects in Phoenix include Riverwalk Arizona, a 176-acre mixed-use development in Scottsdale, AZ; Corridors – Phoenix, an 80-acre business park in Phoenix; and the Arizona Health & Technology Park, a 50-acre medical office and biomedical research park in Mesa.
Riverwalk Arizona received national attention because of its distinction as one of the country's largest developments on Native American land. Riverwalk Arizona, which will yield an estimated 1,500,000 square feet of corporate office and retail space, and create up to 15,000 new jobs, is set on prime land owned by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Community, home to the Pima and Maricopa Indians, descendants of the ancient Hohokam Indians.
