MIAMI—Vanguard Logistics Services is moving into a 135,000-square-foot building at Flagler Station. The logistics services provider entered a build-to-suit agreement with Flagler Global Logistics at South Florida's largest business park.

“Vanguard is currently operating in two buildings in Medley and was looking to consolidate with a more efficient single-building layout,” Charlie Barton, a managing principal at Cresa South Florida, tells GlobeSt.com. “After an exhaustive 18-month search, we found a site that allowed Vanguard to be the single occupant allowing for input on building design and control of the entire building and a secured truck yard.”

Vanguard also explored various sites in Medley, Northwest Miami-Dade and the Airport West market before settling on Flagler Station. Barton says Flagler Station offered Vanguard the “right combination of location, pricing, design and timing.”
