Habitat Takes Over McClurg, Coventry Glen

CHICAGO—The Chicago-based manager and developer is known for its multifamily work in the city's core, but now has its first property in the northwest suburban submarket.

CHICAGO—Bentall Kennedy has hired The Habitat Company as the property manager for both McClurg Court Center in Chicago and Coventry Glen apartments in suburban Round Lake. With these two additions, Habitat’s total units under management will expand to 21,000 total units.

Located at 333 E. Ontario St. in the Streeterville neighborhood, McClurg Court has 45-story twin towers with 1,061 apartments, as well as commercial space on the first level of the building. Coventry Glen is a 280-unit community in the northwest suburbs – a new submarket for Habitat. As reported in GlobeSt.com, the Chicago-based property manager and developer has decided to expand beyond the urban core.
