SAN FRANCISCO—Cushman & Wakefield has promoted Dan Harvey to executive vice chairman (EVC) in recognition of his outstanding performance in completing some of the highest-profile and largest leases on behalf of his clients.

“Attaining the title of EVC is a great accomplishment and is only awarded on a very select basis,” said John Santora, CEO of North America for C&W. “This title requires consistent top-level production, as well as personal characteristics that are aligned to the values of the firm – a client-only approach, sharing generously, and competing ferociously.”

Harvey has executed some of the most significant transactions on behalf of some of the finest firms, including a 1.3 million-square-foot lease expansion in 2012, for the headquarters campus of Salesforce, the world's top CRM platform. And earlier this year, Harvey and his team completed a 714,000 square-foot lease transaction for the new 1,070-foot tall, Salesforce Tower—the largest office lease in San Francisco history. The full branding of Salesforce Tower San Francisco was also done in conjunction with another historic lease in The City of London. This was the first City of London lease with an occupier that fully named and branded the building Salesforce Tower London. Following this, Dan co-brokered a $640 million purchase of 50 Fremont Street, an 817,000 square foot, class A office building in San Francisco, also on behalf of Salesforce.
