LOS ANGELES—Servicon Systems, a sustainable maintenance services firm, has named Laurie Sewell as president and CEO of the company. Sewell formerly served as president, and takes over the CEO position for the company’s founder Richard Mahdesian, who has become chairman emeritus.

“I have a passion for this industry and the people that work in it.  I am delighted to be leading an outstanding team at a time of important change in our industry,” Sewell tells GlobeSt.com. “I believe that the work we perform has an enormous impact on our clients’ business.  In the commercial real estate industry, our work directly impacts the value of the assets and directly contributes to tenant retention. My career goals have always been centered around positively impacting people and their lives, and this new position gives me an even greater opportunity to do so.”
