HOUSTON—MCR Development LLC, the seventh-largest hotel owner-operator in the country, has completed a renovation of the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Houston Intercontinental Airport, a 134-suite extended-stay hotel located at 4015 Interwood North Parkway, in a continued push to enhance the overall guest experience and drive RevPAR growth, a core company strategy.

“Our ongoing renovation program has proven to enhance the overall quality and comfort of the staying experience throughout our portfolio of premium-branded hotels,” Tyler Morse, CEO and managing partner or MCR Development, told GlobeSt.com. “We believe this renovation, coupled with the hotel's convenient location to Houston's core businesses, attractions and airport, will lead to longer stays and help drive RevPAR growth.”

Last year, MCR Development renovated 22 properties nationwide, and it has announced that it will renovate six more by the second quarter of 2015. It owns 70 premium-branded hotel properties currently, with an additional 19 premium-branded Marriott and Hilton hotels under contract to close this quarter.
