New JV Wins Bid for Brent Cross South

LONDON—Argent Related has been selected to deliver a 192-acre site at Brent Cross South in partnership with Barnet Council. The site sits immediately south of the Brent Cross Shopping Centre, which will be significantly transformed over the next few years. Argent Related will enter into working agreement with Barnet Council for the prject  The bid success is an endorsement of the partnership between the UK’s Argent, and US-based Related Companies parntership formation that was reported by GlobeSt earlier this week.  This will be Argent Related’s first major project.

The site has existing planning permits for 4.2 million square feet of commercial space, 6.8 million square feet of residential (approximately 7,500 new homes), 660,000 square feet of industrial, 115,000 square feet of leisure (including three re-built schools), 350,000 square feet of retail and many new public squares, parks and fields.
