NEW YORK CITY—Colliers International has brought on Frank Lynch as managing director. He joins the firm from Tishman Speyer Properties, where he was senior property manager.
In his new role, Lynch will be responsible for business development, implementation of Colliers' strategic platform, property operations, and delivery of third party management services for properties in New York City.
At Tishman Speyer, Lynch was responsible for the operation of a one million-square-foot office property. He also developed a regional electricity sub-metering audit program that was designed to document all tenant usage, identify opportunities to increase energy start ratings and formalize budgeting techniques.
Previously, Lynch was portfolio manager at Trinity Real Estate, where he was instrumental in training and developing the property management team during a multi-year transformation of a 5.5 million-square-foot portfolio from light industrial to commercial office. He also worked closely with the director of leasing to seal transactions with major tenants such as MTV, WCBS Radio, WNYC Radio, David Yurman, and Post Works.
Throughout his career Lynch has worked with other major clients including Credit Suisse, Fisher Brothers, Lockheed Martin, the Durst Organization and Cohen Brothers.
“Frank joins us with strengths in several key areas such as team leadership, property operations, engineering and energy efficiency initiatives, financial reporting, and capital improvement project management,” says Joseph Harbert, president of Colliers International's eastern region. “Frank has been instrumental in the success of several prominent real estate companies. We look forward to having him on our team.”
