CHICAGO—Andrew Kiener, a 20-year real estate veteran, has just joined Kinzie Real Estate Group as director of project sales, the company's third major hire in the past year that once worked at Garrison Partners Consulting.

“Andy is a very well-respected professional in Chicago's real estate market, and we're thrilled to have him bring his vast experience to Kinzie,” says Steve Spinell, president of Chicago-based Kinzie. “His talents and industry knowledge will be very valuable to us as Kinzie continues to grow and expand our developer services division.”

Prior to joining Kinzie, Kiener served as president of Private Holding Group, a Chicago-based property management firm specializing in condominiums. Previously, he was president of Garrison, which grew from a Chicago firm into a national organization during his tenure. During his career, he has overseen $1 billion in real estate projects.

Kiener will join Garrison veterans Steven Maher, Kinzie's managing broker since 2014, and Christine Lutz, who joined Kinzie as its director of residential brokerage in early 2014. In total, this team has worked on more than $3 billion in real estate deals in the Midwest, Northeast, Southwest, and southern US.

“This team of real estate professionals includes some of the most well-known names in Chicago's brokerage and development community,” says Kiener. “The growth Kinzie has experienced for a company that's only three years old is very impressive, and it speaks to the strong leadership of the firm. I'm excited to be a part of this group and, together with Steven and Christine, focus on the continued expansion and success of Kinzie.”

Maher, who also has more than two decades of real estate experience, founded and operated Insight Real Estate Partners, LLC, a Chicago-based real estate sales and marketing firm. There, he directed sales and leasing programs for development projects in Chicago, St. Louis and Minneapolis. Prior to that, he was with Garrison Partners, where he served as vice president and oversaw new business development.

Prior to joining Kinzie, Lutz was a broker with Coldwell Banker/Jennifer Ames Chicago focusing on the high-end single family and condominium market. Like the other new hires, she was also with Garrison Partners, where she served as senior vice president.

“Because of their past experience together at Garrison, there is a synergy to their professional relationship,” Spinell adds. “They have enjoyed a lot of success together, and it's not an overstatement to call them one of Chicago's real estate A-Teams.”
