EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ—Jones Lang LaSalle named Jerry Sullivan, senior vice president, to lead its Project and Development Services Group in New Jersey and co-manage the group in Long Island. Scott Lesh, managing director, who previously managed the PDS team, will transition into the firm's Brokerage division.
In addition to his new role, Sullivan also serves as a key PDS lead for JLL on a number of important global corporate accounts. Sullivan has been with JLL since February 2005.
“Jerry Sullivan has completed a broad array of assignments across the country through his role as global PDS lead for several major corporate accounts,” says George Ladyman, international director and Northeast regional manager for JLL's PDS group. “He is the ideal candidate to continue the evolution of JLL's PDS service line, given his success at serving the needs of our clients.”
Before joining JLL, Sullivan was a senior project manager with CNN and Turner Broadcasting, coordinating design and construction teams for the 875,000-square-foot base building and interior fit out of the TBS and CNN offices in the Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle in New York. He also oversaw office and television studio renovations for CNN's other bureau locations in New York and Washington, DC. Earlier, he was a project architect and senior designer for several New York-based architectural firms, including Kohn Pedersen Fox and Studios Architecture.
Lesh's move to brokerage will enable JLL to leverage his long-established client relationships and more than 20 years of experience to generate new business for the firm, particularly in the tenant representation sector.
“Scott was instrumental in growing our PDS platform in New Jersey and Long Island, and he will significantly enhance our brokerage team by cross-selling opportunities that showcase JLL's full platform of services,” says Robert Kossar, executive managing director and market leader for JLL's New Jersey and Long Island operations. “Scott offers expert insight into space design, use and construction; technology and occupancy trends; and methods for positioning clients for the future.”
As head of PDS in New Jersey and co-head in Long Island, Lesh oversaw a staff of 30 project management professionals managing approximately $1 billion in annual capital expenditures.
Before assuming the NJ PDS market lead role in 2010, Lesh served as a client relationship manager for several Fortune 500 companies, overseeing their national real estate portfolios. He worked closely with senior commercial real estate leadership to develop portfolio optimization, workplace strategy, project cost metrics and capital planning.
