ATLANTA—PM Realty Group just snagged a heavy hitter from Wells. Joe Oglesby joins PM as senior vice president of its Southeast edition.

Oblesby previously served as Chief Investment Officer for Wells Real Estate Funds. There he was responsible for office building acquisitions, dispositions, build-to-suits, and financings.

“Joe is one of the most well respected real estate veterans in Atlanta,” says Bill Weghorst, executive vice president and managing director of PM's Southeast Division. “He has acquired, built and/or overseen the asset management of some of the most prominent buildings in the southeast United States. Joe will be a huge asset to PMRG and our clients as we continue to grow our Southeastern Division platform.”

Oglesby has over 25 years of commercial real estate experience, including development, leasing, capital markets, and asset management experience. He comes to PM with a strong track record of success with direct involvement in over $6 billion in transactions with strong negotiation, technical, problem solving and leadership skills.

"The Atlanta market is heating up with steady investments in the office, retail, and industrial sectors by institutional capital,” Oglesby tells GlobeSt.com. “In the past few months, with high quality assets like Two Ravinia Drive, Midtown Plaza, and Corporate Concourse Center hitting the market, we are seeing the biggest influx of class A office product since before the recession.”
