IRVINE, CA—Colliers International has hired industry veteran David Rowley as managing director of business development for the western region. In this new position, Rowley will drive new business across Colliers Real Estate Services and brokerage lines, as well as maintaining and forging new relationships for the firm. He will be based in the company's Irvine office.

“I have been in the real estate business my entire career, mainly based in Newport Beach but working in the West Coast market,” Rowley tells GlobeSt.com. “With Colliers, it was all about the alignment of my personal goals and their corporate goals. Colliers is a dynamic growth-oriented platform that is, I think, very well positioned to respond to the clients needs today in the commercial real estate market.”

Rowley joins Colliers from Davis Partners LLC in Newport Beach, where he served as SVP. There, he oversaw the operations, management and leasing of 13 million square feet, a total of 75 properties, on the West Coast for a client roster that included institutional investors TA Associates Realty, Industrial Income Trust and Invesco. In his storied 20-year career, he has served as a property manager for Spieker Properties/Equity Office, overseeing the operating income for a 500,000-square-foot class-A office portfolio; and worked for CB Commercial/Koll Management Services, overseeing a 1.5-million-square-foot office campus.

At Colliers, he will leverage this past experience to pinpoint key growth opportunities for the firm. “I will really be identifying opportunities to create value across the western region, and position the executives and the brokers at Colliers to best respond to those client needs,” he says. “Where there is alignment with client needs and what Colliers can provide out there, I am the conduit for that.”

Collier's New York office also got a recent addition with the hiring of Robert Gallucci as executive director. Gallucci will also focus on business development for the firm.
