Avison Young Brings On David Burton

NEW YORK CITY—Formerly with DTZ, the 16-year industry veteran brings in expertise in the media, financial and information technology sectors.

NEW YORK CITY—Avison Young has brought on David Burton as a director here. The 16 year-veteran of the industry—who has represented both tenants and landlords—previously was with DTZ.

Burton specializes in office subleasing, planning and executing campaigns for a diverse roster of clients that includes tenants in the financial services, insurance, media and information technology sectors. Burton’s hiring comes on the heels of Avison Young having recently expanded its presence in New York City with the relocation of its Manhattan office to a full floor—totaling 40,000 square feet—at 1166 Ave. of the Americas.
