SAN RAMON, CA—Donor Network West, the third-largest federally designated organ procurement organization and one of the largest tissue recovery organizations in the nation, has signed a lease to occupy an entire floor in Bishop Ranch 15 (BR 15) at 12667 Alcosta Blvd. Donor Network West will occupy 41,039 square feet at BR 15, a four-building campus immediately adjacent to the popular Iron Horse biking and jogging trail.

The organization will relocate from Oakland to San Ramon in June. Financial terms of the lease were not disclosed. Jon Elder with JLL represented Donor Network West.

Cindy Siljestrom, chief executive officer of Donor Network West, tells GlobeSt.com: “We couldn't be more excited about our move to the wonderful business community at Bishop Ranch. Relocating to San Ramon will enhance our ability to serve our clients more conveniently and effectively. Our new office features outstanding efficiencies, a beautiful landscape, access to a transportation program and many other amenities for our employees.”

Additional amenities for Donor Network employees will include free parking, a café, showers and lockers. Employees at Bishop Ranch enjoy a wide range of amenities and on-site services, including professional seminars and networking opportunities, special offers and discounts, gourmet food trucks and a farmers market.

Donor Network West's mission is to save and improve lives through organ and tissue donation for transplantation. Founded as the California Transplant Donor Network in 1987, it changed its name to Donor Network West in March 2015. Today it serves 175 hospitals, five transplant centers, 44 coroner and medical examiner offices, and more than 500 funeral homes as well as the broader public in Northern California and Nevada.

Numerous small businesses in high tech, bio/clean tech, and social software, such as Affiliated Computer Services, Aon eSolutions, Cognizant Technology Solutions and AGIS Network have chosen to locate business environment.

Bishop Ranch tenants occupy spaces from 150 square feet to more than 1 million square feet. Owned and operated by Sunset Development Company, Bishop Ranch is located on 585 acres in the San Ramon Valley. For nearly four decades, it has been the largest mixed-use business community in Northern California.

Last fall, Bishop Ranch announced the commencement of leasing at 2600 Camino Ramon, with 1 million square feet of renovated, flexible office space.
