In a statement released late last week, London Group listed several reasons for the move:

  • Dore Group is "top of the stack" in terms of offering the top quality MAI commercial appraisal services.

  • They are multi-dimensional, with private and public sector qualifications in all forms of land uses, including investment, commercial office, retail, industrial and land.

  • They have substantial litigation/expert witness qualifications and experience, which compliments an important service of the London Group.

  • There is a long standing business relationship already invested between firm Principals Gary London and Lance Dore, going back 25 years.

A message from Gary London went on to say that “blending these services such that Dore's valuation clients benefit from the “value add of the London Group focus, on strategic investment and development decisions a cornerstone of which is valuation.”

“London Group clients who retain us for Market & Feasibility Studies will recognize the benefit of continuing our relationship with MAI valuation, which is inevitably part of most acquisitions, dispositions and debt/equity placements,” he said.
