NEW YORK CITY—Ed Hogan, who currently serves as national director of leasing at Brookfield Office Properties, is leaving the firm to take a similar position at Vornado Realty Trust, according to a published media report.

An article in today's Commercial Observer cited an internal memo in reporting the story indicating that Hogan will run the leasing operations in Vornado's Manhattan portfolio as well as revamping Penn Plaza. Vornado hopes to make its Penn Plaza holdings more attractive to potential tenants, as it is a leading landlord in that part of Manhattan, Commercial Observer reported

Hogan concludes his career with Brookfield by accomplishing a goal of leasing out the firm's renovated Brookfield Place at 250 Vesey Street. He also oversaw leasing at Brookfield's Manhattan West project, which is currently under development in the Hudson Yards district, the article noted. Other accomplishments includes managing leasing at 1 New York Plaza, the Downtown property damaged by Hurricane Sandy. Before coming to Brookfield's predecessor company, Hogan began his career as an architect working at Eberhart Brothers and Skidmore Owings & Merrill.
