MIAMI—Cresa just opened an office in Argentina. Cresa Argentina, formerly One Side Argentina, is a leading corporate real estate advisor firm that exclusively represents tenants and occupiers of space. So what does that mean for Cresa South Florida?

“With Miami as the gateway to Latin America, Cresa South Florida not only sees Argentinians investing in Miami but Miami's Argentinians doing business in Latin America,” David Prevé, managing principal at Cresa South Florida, tells GlobeSt.com. “Our chairman, Richard Rhodes, pointed out that Cresa Argentina will serve as a key Latin American hub for us since it covers markets in Chile, Uruguay, Peru, and Columbia. We look forward to partnering with Cresa Argentina in cross-continental deals.”

Recent studies reveal that tenants may be best served by a company that represents their interests exclusively. Cresa South Florida is proving this out in its home region. In the first four months of 2015, the firm closed 45 deals spanning 566,000 square feet in office and industrial deals valued at $70.258 million.

Cresa is beating the expansion drum in the US and beyond. The firm recently opened global offices in Netherlands and Belgium. All told, Cresa has offices in over 60 markets, including London, India, and Canada, as well as over 50 offices in the US. Cresa aims to open eight new offices in Europe and Asia this Spring.

“We are responding to increased market demand among companies for tenant and occupier-only services that avoid conflicts of interest,” says Rhodes. “There is a void of tenant representation firms in South America, and this presents us with an opportunity to expand our objective, conflict-free, integrated services model.”
