NEW YORK CITY—Heading just one avenue West—between the same cross streets as before—the law firm of Norton Rose Fulbright is relocating its New York offices to 1301 Ave. of the Americas, taking 107,215 square feet at the Class A trophy tower. The global company is scheduled to leave its current offices, at 666 Fifth Ave., in the third quarter of 2016.

“The floors at 1301 Avenue of the Americas lend themselves to efficient design that affords our client the opportunity to reinvent its workplace and create a more energized environment,” says Newmark Grubb Knight Frank's Moshe Sukenik, who represented the tenant along with Chris Mongeluzo and Lee Brodsky.

Adds Steve Suzzan, New York office partner-in-charge, Norton Rose Fulbright, “We are pleased to announce this move. Our clients, lawyers and personnel will continue to benefit from our central location in the heart of midtown Manhattan. We are excited to have the opportunity to design a vibrant workspace which will showcase the New York office as one of the global centerpieces of Norton Rose Fulbright.”

Taking up the entire block between 52nd and 53rd streets, 1301 6th Ave. is a 1.75-million square-foot, 45-story tower with outstanding light and direct access to the Rockefeller Center retail concourse. Norton Rose Fulbright will be joining other distinguished tenants such as Barclays, Credit Agricole, Commerzbank, OakTree Capital Management and Chadbourne & Parke.

NGKF's Andrew Sachs, Timothy Gibson, Bill Levitsky and Ben Shapiro represented the owner, Paramount Group, as exclusive leasing agents for the building.

Norton Rose Fulbright is a global legal practice with offices in more than 50 cities worldwide. The firm offers a full range of transactions, disputes and regulatory services.

Kushner Cos. owns 666 Fifth Ave. A spokesman for the firm did not respond to GlobeSt.com's request for comment by press time.
