DALLAS—Venture Commercial has recently completed 65,000 square feet of retail leases across North Texas. They include the following:

  • Fitness Nation expands with Bedford lease Arlington-based Fitness Nation is expanding its health-club concept, and has leased a 40,000 square foot building at 1805 Airport Freeway in Bedford for its second DFW location. Edward Bogel, David Davidson Jr. and Clay Mote of Venture represented the landlord. Maury Levy of CBRE represented the tenant. 
  • Tuesday Morning extends lease at Arapaho Village Tuesday Morning Inc. has signed a lease extension on a 9,422-square-foot space in the Arapaho Village shopping center located at 819 W. Arapaho Lane in Richardson. Venture Commercial’s John Rutledge and Michael Wilson represented the landlord, Wasa Properties Arapaho Village LLC. The tenant was self-represented. 
  • Lumber Liquidators expands with new Fort Worth location Lumber Liquidators leased 7,500 square feet at Westover Village located at 425 Sherry Lane in Fort Worth. Chris Corbin and Michael Dearden of Venture represented the landlord. Summit Realty Ventures and Metro Commercial Real Estate represented the tenant. 
  • The Woodhouse Day Spa to open at Westbend in Fort Worth As reported yesterday, The Woodhouse Day Spa is expanding its luxury spa concept and has leased a 5,280-square-foot space at Westbend. This will be the second DFW location for the franchise. Corbin and Elizabeth Ellenwood of Venture Commercial represented Woodhouse in lease negotiations. Stacy Barton of Trademark Property Co. represented the landlord. 
  • Brident Dental & Orthodontics expands with Lewisville location Western Dental, dba Brident Dental and Orthodontics, has leased a 2,851-square-foot freestanding building located at 726 West Main St. Brident will redevelop the former Wendy’s into a family dentistry office for its eleventh practice in DFW. Venture’s Jim Dunn and Kelly Hampton represented Brident in lease negotiations. 

“People always comment on how many nail salons there are in DFW retail, but if you focus on the number of dental providers in the retail segment you will really be amazed!” Hampton, senior vice president at Venture Commercial Real Estate, told GlobeSt.com. “More than ever, the dental and ortho service providers need key high-profile retail locations, and getting a freestanding building with at kind of exposure and signage on Main Street, and across from the Walmart /Sam’s Club center…was just lucky.”
