NEW YORK CITY—HREC Investment Advisors has brought on veteran lodging transaction advisor Mark von Dwingelo as an SVP here. Prior to joining HREC, Mark was SVP for JLL's Hotels & Hospitality Group, focusing primarily on mid-market hotel transactions in the Northeast.
During his 30 years of experience, Mark has appraised, valued and provided consulting/transaction advice on hospitality assets worth in excess of $5 billion. He has held positions in the hospitality industry with KPMG, Landauer Horwath, PKF Consulting and Laventhol & Horwath.
“HREC's multi-faceted platform, that supports hotel investors through asset transactions, debt and equity sourcing and broad consulting services, will allow me to serve clients in the Northeast and New England most effectively,” says von Dwingelo.
“We are excited to add a seasoned real estate veteran to our team and look forward to exploring new opportunities at HREC that Mark's experience and background can assist the company in developing," adds Geoff Davis, president and senior principal. "Mark's background and expertise adds additional hotel and broad based real estate experience to HREC's proven team that will help us further serve our clients both nationally and internationally. In the past five years we have closed on the sale of over 60 hotel assets in the Northeast. We believe the addition of Mark to an already strong team will allow us to continue to provide unparalleled service and market coverage to our clients,”
