MIAMI—Cushman & Wakefield just landed a huge client: Prologis. Executive director Brian Smith and senior director Audley Bosch are now the exclusive leasing and sales agents for Prologis Beacon Lakes, a master-planned 478-acre development in the Doral area just west of the Dolphin Mall.

Prologis is the largest industrial developer/landlord in South Florida with just over 11 million square feet of existing warehouse space. Beacon Lakes is a large-scale development that stretches from Northwest 25th Street south to Northwest 12th Street and from Northwest 117th Place west to 137th Avenue. There is approximately 200,000 square feet of class A warehouse space immediately available for lease.

"Prologis is a prolific developer with a strong balance sheet and extensive experience in developing projects of this caliber and scale around the globe,” says Smith. “We love the location and master plan of Beacon Lakes. It's a lot of fun to be part of. We are actually looking to grow our team as a result of this assignment which is exciting for us. The opportunities are endless in terms of what we can offer to prospective occupiers."

Ryder logistics, Panalpina and Bamerica call Beacon Lakes home. The community has about 2 million square feet of existing class A warehouse space with entitlements to develop another 2.5 million square feet of industrial space. Beacon Lakes also has entitlements for a retail component and an on-site hotel.

“We've developed a great partnership with the Cushman & Wakefield team over the past 12 years here in South Florida,“ says Scott Gregory, Prologis' market officer for South Florida. ”Brian and Audley are high energy professionals who have a proven track record of success. We are confident this team will be excellent ambassadors for the park and the Prologis brand."
