DALLAS—Phoenix-based Vestar has won the leasing assignment of Village on the Parkway, a 357,731-square-foot center situated on 31 acres in Far North Dallas, at Belt Line Road and Montfort Drive. It was retained by the asset's large institutional owner to handle property management, leasing and marketing.

Reps for the company say it intends to “refresh the property's merchandising strategy while enhancing the shopping experience through marketing programs and community-oriented events.”

“In the ever-changing retail industry, institutional owners understand that an experienced multi-service provider is necessary for the success of a center,” says R. Patrick McGinley, president of management services at Vestar. “Vestar has a proven track record in leasing, management and marketing, and we are excited to deliver superior results to our client and the community.”

Village on the Parkway is currently 91 percent leased to several major tenants including Whole Foods Market, AMC Theatres, Neighborhood Services, Ra Sushi, Gloria's Latin Cuisine, Yard House, AT&T, Beauty Brands and 24 Hour Fitness.

And Vestar is optimistic about the center as well as its growth in the region.

"The Dallas retail market continues to benefit from improving consumer confidence, strengthening economic conduction and stable market fundamentals," McGinley told GlobeSt.com. "We are looking forward to growing our presence in the region."
