COLUMBUS—DTZ has just hired George Stecz as its new senior managing director for the Columbus capital markets team. He reports to DTZ managing principal Tom McGarity.

“George brings a wealth of experience to this role,” says McGarity. “His industry knowledge will be invaluable as we continue to grow our capital markets business.”

Stecz brings nearly 25 years of commercial real estate experience to DTZ. Prior to joining the company, he served as a managing member of CBRE's investment properties team in Columbus. In this role, he completed retail, office and industrial sale transactions totaling over $1.8 billion in aggregate value. And as acquisition/development controller at Duke Realty Corp., Stecz worked on property acquisitions totaling more than $80 million and helped finance and develop more than 6 million square feet of office, industrial and retail properties.
