PASADENA, CA—DPR Construction has broken ground on Shriners Hospital for Children, a state-of-the-art and sustainable medical center in Pasadena, CA. DPR is serving as the contractor of the project, which is being developed in partnership with CO Architects & SRG Partnership. The development will cost $60 million and is expected to open in mid 2017.

Doan, P.G.M., chairman of the board of governors at Shriners Hospitals for Children—Los Angeles, adds, “The new location will enhance the partnership between Shriners for Children Medical Center and Huntington Memorial Hospital to better serve the pediatric specialty care needs of Pasadena, the greater San Gabriel Valley, and across the Southwest. Working together, the two Facilities will be able to reach more children in need of expert care and serve them even more efficiently and effectively.”
