NEW YORK CITY–Thor Equities has appointed Talia Zapolanski as SVP, capital markets, GlobeSt.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY. She will be based in the company's headquarter offices here as the company's investments are concentrated on the city but she will work nationally and internationally as well.
Zapolanski was previously an executive director of JP Morgan Private Bank and head of alternative investments for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Based in London, she advised private clients across the region on the construction of hedge fund, private equity and real estate portfolios.
She was with JP Morgan for 11 years, joining the alternatives team in 2011 to manage the Latin America alternative investments business before relocating to Europe in 2014. Prior to that, she spent five years as a global investment specialist, providing institutional service, advice and execution to Latin American private clients.
