NEWPORT BEACH, CA—KBS, a real estate investment company based in Newport Beach, recently made two key promotions within its Capital Markets Group.
Mick Manning has been named chief executive officer and president and Jeffrey Kremin has been appointed as national sales manager.
“Mick and Jeff have been instrumental in growing our Capital Markets business,” said Charles Schreiber, chief executive officer of KBS. “As our client base continues to grow and seek more insight, our leadership team must be equipped to deliver. Their extensive experience will further strengthen our team.”
As chief executive officer and president, Manning will oversee day-to-day processes, in addition to both internal and external wholesaling operations and activities. He has been with KBS Capital Markets Group for nine years and previously served as president, where he was responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing. Manning has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, stemming from several leadership positions at MFS/Sun Life, MassMutual and Northwestern Mutual Life. Manning is based in California.
In his new role, Kremin will be accountable for overseeing the Capital Markets Group regional vice presidents and directing the development of channel sales for registered investment advisors. He previously served as eastern divisional sales manager, as well as senior regional vice president where he ran the distribution of real estate investment products to financial advisors in his territory. Kremin is based in Illinois.
