Retail Guru Joins Cushman & Wakefield

NEW YORK CITY—Following a 30-year career that included numerous stints as CEO of fashion firms, Steve Birkhold has become executive director of office brokerage at the real estate services firm.

NEW YORK CITY—Steve Birkhold, former CEO of several well-known apparel brands, has joined Cushman & Wakefield as an executive director in the firm’s office brokerage division. He joins a senior team that specializes in the fashion and luxury goods segment, with an expertise in office, showroom and e-commerce.

A 30-year veteran of the fashion industry, Birkhold has extensive and multifaceted experience leading globally recognized brands, having served as the CEO of Bebe Stores, Lacoste, Diesel and Earl Jeans, along with a 10-year tenure at VF Corp. working with Lee Jeans and Nautica Jeans.
