NEW YORK CITY—Jonathan Rose Cos. has named Sanjay Chauhan as CFO. In addition to his responsibilities in that role, Chauhan will manage investor relations and oversee the firm's investment funds.

Most recently, Chauhan served as CFO and asset management leader at Urban American, a New Jersey-based real estate firm focused on acquiring, improving, and managing workforce housing. During his time there, Chauhan played an integral role in in the company's expansion in the multifamily sector.

"I am eager to grow the Jonathan Rose Cos. investment platform," adds Chauhan. “We have established a terrific track record in the preservation and greening of affordable and mixed income projects, an area in which I think there is a tremendous opportunity for growth."

Chauhan is credentialed as a certified public accountant as well as a chartered financial analyst.
