ORLANDO—Hector Lopez, AV Homes foreign national liaison to South American homebuyers, is convinced that Orlando is seeing some foreign investors turn from South Florida to Central Florida. He's also convinced that a growing number want single-family homes instead of condos.

What makes him so sure? It's more than anecdotal evidence. He's seeing it in sheer demand for properties in the Orlando area, like the Treviso neighborhood at AV's Solvita project in Kissimmee, FL. Homes in Solivita are priced from the $150,000s.

GlobeSt.com caught up with Lopez to find out how his company is attracting South American and Chinese buyers in part two of this exclusive interview. You can still read part one: South American Buyers Migrating to Orlando.
