CHICAGO—LaSalle Investment Management has just appointed Kristina Heuberger to its newly-created position of US head of asset management. She will report to Jason Kern, chief executive officer, Americas, and oversee a portfolio comprised of more than 230 commercial assets totaling more than 70 million square feet, and develop and deliver on strategic operating plans for these assets. Heuberger will also join the Americas Private Equity Management Board.

“Active asset management is a critical area of our business and a key way in which we can differentiate ourselves by driving superior investment performance for our clients,” says Kern. “We are committed to ensuring this function operates seamlessly and to the highest of standards and I am confident that Kristy will be very successful in her new role. She brings a unique set of skills and experience to LaSalle and we are all very excited to have her join our senior leadership team.”

Heuberger has more than 18 years of experience in real estate and has worked in asset management, transaction execution, operations, marketing, strategy setting, process improvement and debt structuring. She joins LaSalle from GE Capital Real Estate where she held several leadership roles, including leading Midwest regional sales and its US equity asset management group. Most recently, she served as the firm's chief marketing officer for the North America region.
