DALLAS--Butler Burgher Group (BBG), the Dallas-based real estate valuation, advisory and assessment firm, exclusively tells GlobeSt.com that it has recently completed a recapitalization effort with Silver Oak Services Partners LLC.
In addition, the company has hired three senior-level staff members to join the New York office to enhance its advisory, financial reporting and appraisal review services.
“The positive momentum we are building is incredibly exciting,” Diane Butler, CEO, told GlobeSt.com. “Adding these industry leaders to our team expands our capabilities in New York and throughout the firm. These high-level appointments and the Silver Oak relationship position us for the next phase of growth.”
BBG leadership will retain a significant ownership stake in the business and continue to drive day-to-day operations and long-term vision for the firm. Deloitte Corporate Finance LLC acted as exclusive financial adviser to BBG on the transaction. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
“We are very excited to partner with Diane Butler and the rest of the team at BBG,” says Greg Barr, managing partner at Silver Oak. “The company has a successful track record and a strong reputation in the market. We believe BBG is poised for significant growth following several new office openings and a recent acquisition, each expanding the company's geographic presence and capabilities.”
In New York, Louis Yorey has joined BBG as a senior managing director and practice leader of advisory services. In this role, he will lead the new group and oversee the financial reporting practice on a national basis. He has over 25 years of experience in real estate valuation specializing in assignments for financial reporting and REIT acquisitions and conversions; he joins BBG from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
Andrew Babienco has joined BBG at the director level. He has over 36 years of experience in real estate valuation, most recently with Deutsche Bank. In this role he will provide appraisal review services for CMBS and other loan types on behalf of BBG's financial institution clients.
Helen Peng also comes from Deutsche Bank and joins BBG as a director. She has over 28 years of experience in real estate valuation. In this role, she will provide appraisal review services for CMBS and other loan types on behalf of BBG's financial institution clients.
“Our growth is in direct response to our clients' needs,” Butler says. “Serving clients well has resulted in success that in turn helped us attract three of the most qualified valuation and advisory services professionals in the country.”
