NEW YORK CITY—Wonder Works Construction Corp. has named a new COO/partner. Appointee Eric Brody will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, business development and the first-party project development division of the construction management and real estate development firm.

His rise at Wonder Works began with a position as senior project manager, and was followed by a promotion to director of construction in 2012. Prior to joining Wonder Works, Brody spearheaded the Brody Group, a boutique development company specializing in multifamily and adaptive re-use projects, primarily on the Lower East Side.

“I put great value in talent and commitment, and Eric not only demonstrates both, he consistently surpasses all expectations,” says Joseph Klaynberg, Wonder Works' founder and chairman. “More importantly, his unfaltering integrity and in-depth knowledge of construction and development make him an exceptional partner.”

Wonder Works Construction Corp. represents more than $300 million in residential projects. Among the firm's most recent work as developers are such luxury condominium and rental projects as 357 W. 17th St. and 302 E. 96th St. in Manhattan and the Spectra at Five Constitution Plaza in Hartford, CT.
