Hotel Veteran Danziger Joins Trump Organization

NEW YORK CITY—Over a four-decade career, Danziger has held leadership roles with Starwood, Carlson Hotels and Wyndham; he will now serve as CEO of Trump Hotel Collection.

NEW YORK CITY—The Trump Organization said Tuesday it had hired hospitality veteran Eric Danziger as CEO of Trump Hotel Collection, its luxury hotel management company. Danziger was most recently president and CEO of Hampshire Hotel Management, a company he joined in March 2014; a spokewoman for Hampshire tells GlobeSt.com the company wishes him “nothing but the best in his future endeavors.”

Danziger began his career in the hotel industry at the bottom of the ladder 44 years ago, working as a bellman at the Fairmont in San Francisco. He has since traveled in more rarified circles, serving at various times as president and CEO of Starwood Hotels, president and COO of Carlson Hotels Worldwide and president and CEO of Wyndham Hotel Group.
