DENVER, CO—United Properties is about to break ground next month on the third phase of Enterprise Business Center in Stapleton – the class A industrial development that will now include eight buildings with more than two million square feet.

Beer wine and spirits wholesaler Beverage Distributors Company, LLC, has preleased 500,000 sq. ft. in one of the new buildings. Construction of the first building in phase three, which will house Beverage Distributors, will begin after the Sept. 2 groundbreaking ceremony. Phase three will include two buildings initially, with the third built upon market demand:

• A 646,000-sq.-ft. bulk distribution building with 32-foot ceiling heights principally occupied by Beverage Distributors to be complete in the first quarter of 2017.

• A 157,000-sq.-ft. flex building planned with 24-foot ceiling height and a higher degree of office finish to be complete by the end of the second quarter of 2016.

Initially, Beverage Distributors will occupy 70,000 sq. ft. at EBC for office use, and will occupy 142,000-sq.-ft. of warehouse space later, with built-in expansion space. The company is consolidating its operations from three buildings in Aurora, CO, and is the largest distributor of beer, wine and spirits in Colorado.

Enterprise Business Center is being consturcted on approximately 100 acres at Interstate 70 and Havana Street in Stapleton, a submarket in Denver. United Properties recently purchased an additional 45 acres of land to build phase three of center.
