SAN DIEGO—JLL has promoted three brokers here, Chad Urie, Tony Russell and Misty Moore. Previously executive vice presidents, both Urie and Russell were promoted to managing director, while Moore was promoted from vice president to senior vice president.
“These three brokers are consistent top performers who push themselves to set goals and surpass them,” said Jay Alexander, senior managing director at JLL San Diego.
Urie and Russell both specialize in landlord representation for office, lab and R&D properties. Urie leads the marketing for several preeminent technology and life science properties, including Enclave Sorrento, The Towers and i3. He has secured 100,000+-square foot leases on behalf of RREEF, GE, Kilroy Realty, McCarthy Cook and many more.
Russell leads the marketing for several of San Diego's most prominent office projects, including The Aventine, The Towers, Paseo Del Mar, The Point and Rio San Diego Plaza. He also works with several of the largest institutional office property owners, including GE, Blackstone, Black Rock, Prudential, Union Investment and TIAA-CREF.
Moore specializes in tenant representation and also co-chairs the JLL Law Firm Practice Group for the San Diego office. She has represented local and global law firms DLA Piper, Morrison & Foerster, Ogletree Deakins Nash Smoak & Stewart, Best Best & Krieger, Troutman Sanders and many more. She oversees a multi-market, 750,000 sf national portfolio of leased real estate for Alliant Insurance Services and a portfolio of nearly one million square feet of off-campus leased space for UCSD.
Over the past year, Urie was named to Real Estate Southern California's top 40 under 40 list of Southern California's most successful real estate industry leaders, and Russell was selected as one of San Diego's 40 Under 40 by San Diego Metro and as one of the Daily Transcript's Young Influentials. Both were named Top Producers by JLL. Moore was selected as one of 20 Women Who Impact San Diego by San Diego Metro and as one of the Power Women in Commercial Real Estate by Bisnow.
