ORLANDO--Cushman & Wakefield just wooed a 30-year Tampa Bay area commercial real estate veteran to its ranks. Wendy S. Giffin just joined the firm's Tampa office as a director on the Florida Investor Services team. She will focus on growing the team's capabilities in Pinellas and Manatee Counties.
Giffin comes to CushWake from Michigan-based Osprey Real Estate Services, where she served as managing partner, president, and broker for more than a decade in the company's Saint Petersburg office. During her tenure at Osprey, she oversaw the leasing of a 1 million square-foot class A office portfolio and inked over $200 million in leasing and sales transactions.
“We are thrilled to welcome Wendy to our Investor Services team,“ Tim Rivers, managing director of Investor Services, tells GlobeSt.com. ”Her ability to leverage her expertise and knowledge of the Pinellas and Manatee commercial real estate markets will make her a great partner to our clients and her colleagues here at Cushman & Wakefield.”
Giffin's career in the Bay area includes extensive experience with firms including Structure Real Estate, TRS (Echelon) Commercial Real Estate Services, Transcontinental Realty Investors/Basic Capital Management, Wittner Companies, and The Peter Lawrence Companies. She has earned a reputation as one of the region's most prolific producers.
Giffin received the Florida Gulf Coast Association of Commercial Realtors (FGCAR) Pinnacle Award for Top Producer every year since 2008. She was the top office broker market-wide four times during this time period. In 2012, she also earned the FGCAR President's Service Award.
