IRVINE, CA—What started as collaborative space to enhance creativity and productivity in the office has expanded to include places in which employees can socialize, take breaks and relax in the office. Workplaces that offer employees these common-area spaces that include ping-pong tables, TVs and spaces to “hang out” are becoming more common in Orange County, Kelemen & Caamano Investments principal Tibor Kelemen tells GlobeSt.com. Case in point is the firm’s recently completed 41,064-square-foot modern/industrial/creative/collaborative property at 2860 Michelle Dr. here. We spoke exclusively with Kelemen about the project and the trends it reflects in the Orange County office market.
