Harbinger Gets Tentative Nod for $125M Waterfront Hotel Project

BOSTON—Harbinger Development of Wellesley, MA was granted tentative approval by the board of the Economic Development and Industrial Corp. to move forward with the development of two hotels in the Boston Marine Industrial Park.

BOSTON—Harbinger Development of Wellesley, MA was granted tentative approval by the board of the Economic Development and Industrial Corp. to move forward with the development of two hotels in the Boston Marine Industrial Park.

Eamon O’Marah, managing partner of Harbinger Development, says that his firm and the EDIC, a sister agency of the Boston Redevelopment Authority, will now work to iron out a lease agreement on the property known as “Parcel A” along the South Boston waterfront. O’Marah tells Globest.com that plans call for the construction of an L-shaped building that would feature a limited stay and extended stay hotels. The firm is in negotiations with Hilton Worldwide on both hotel properties, but has yet to select a flag for either, he notes.
