NEW YORK CITY—The Kaufman Organization has secured a dozen expansion, renewal and new leases totaling approximately 26,600 square feet at 27 W. 24th St. in Midtown South's “Silicon Alley.” The transactions were spearheaded in-house Ian Norris, Grant Greenspan and Aron Orbach. The asking rents on all of the leases were in the mid-$60's per-square-foot.Chermayeff & Geisner & Haviv, along with Rivkin-Weisman, approximately 5,500-square-foot lease for a full front half-floor space. Agency Coulter (The Coulter Cos.) signed a five-year renewal/expansion lease and now occupies a total of approximately 3,500 square feet of space at the building. Flyby Media, signed a two-and-a-half year, approximately 3,300-square-foot lease for office space. Meetey signed a five-year, approximately 2,100-square-foot leaseand was represented by Christopher Hagerupand Jake Brumbaugh of Tungsten Propertyrepresented the tenant.Flatiron 23rd Street Partnership, renewed its approximately 2,100-square-foot lease for an additional five years. Shamir Shah Design signed a seven-year, approximately 1,800-square-foot leaseand was represented by Daniel Lolai of LSL NY.
Stocktwits signed a three-year, approximately 1,800-square-foot lease and Daniel Levine and Jonathan Franzel of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented the tenant. Awestruck Marketing Group signed a five-year approximately 1,700-square-foot lease for spaceand Erik Nissani of Willow Stone Realty represented the tenant. Flybridge Capital Partners has signed a three-year, approximately 1,500-square-foot lease and Jonathan Wasserstrum of TheSquareFoot represented the tenant. KEC Ventures signed a five-year, approximately 1,400-square-foot Alan Markowitz of Sandmark Realty represented the tenant.Rhapsody Music & Cinema renewed its existing approximately 1,300-square-foot lease for an additional three years and Norris, Greenspan and Orbach represented the tenant and ownership in the transaction. Lastly, Breather, renewed its existing approximately 600-square-foot lease for an additional three years. Norris, Greenspan and Orbach again represented all parties in the transaction.
CBRE also has done a spate of recent deals; it represented the tenant in each transaction. Christopher Corrinet, Ben Friedland and Michael Geoghegan represented Invus Group at 750 Lexington Ave. in a 14,700-square-foot renewal for five years. Cohen Brothers Realty's Marc Horowitz represented the landlord. Anthony Dattoma represented BNP Media at 350 Fifth Ave. in a 13,171-square-foot lease for seven years. JLL's Jonathan Fanuzzi, Paul Glickman, Matt Polhemus and Shanae Ursini represented the landlord. Christopher Corrinet and Roger P. Griswold, Jr. represented Mark Edward Partners at 505 Park Ave. in a 9,644-square-foot lease and renewal for two years. Cushman & Wakefield's David Green and Justin Roycere represented the landlord.
Jason Frazier and David Young represented Via Transportation at 10 Crosby St. in a 8,425-square-foot lease for seven years. JLL's Mitch Konsker, Daniel Turkewitz and Brittany Wunsch represented the landlord. Joseph Fabrizi and Arkady Smolyansky represented Centre Lane Partners at One Grand Central Place (60 E.42nd St.) in a 7,067-square-foot lease and expansion for 11 years. Landlord representation was provided by Fred Posniak, of Empire State Realty Trust, with William Cohen and Julie Christiano of NGKF. Gary Kamenetsky, Jeffrey Kilimnick, Robert Kluge and Robert Meyers represented Diamond Castle Holdings at 366 Madison Ave. in a 6,851-square-foot lease for seven years. Cassidy Turley's Peter Buckey, Nicola Heryet and Howard Poretsky represented the landlord.
