TRACY, CA—Standard Pacific Homes, one of the nation's leaders in homebuilding, and The Surland Companies, a leader in innovative planning and neighborhood design, plan to break ground on a new, master-planned community nestled in the Southwest region of Tracy.

The same partners who developed Redbridge in Tracy say they are partnering to bring a new neighborhood of timeless architecture and appeal to the city. A groundbreaking ceremony was scheduled for today at 10 a.m.
"The Surland Companies strives to bring the best of Tracy's past to today. Creating special places like Ellis where people can live, work and play," said Les Serpa founder of The Surland Companies.
Located near and named after the historic town of Ellis, the community when complete, will include several neighborhoods, many parks and retail amenities, and has been planned to accommodate a Tracy Swim Center.
Phase one of the community will showcase 296 upscale homes within three unique neighborhoods. Slated to open in 2016, Ellis will present eleven innovative floorplan designs with exquisite architectural detailing and elegant street scenes.
"Standard Pacific has a long history of building quality homes in Tracy and we are thrilled to be partnering once again with The Surland Companies on a new development," says Tom Burrill, Standard Pacific Homes Bay Area division president. "Ellis will continue this legacy with stunning architecture and open floorplans."
Landmark, Legacy and Legend at Ellis, will include homes ranging between 2,600 and 3,800 square feet and offer expansive, great room-centered floorplans. Thoughtfully designed for indoor-outdoor connectivity, these homes will provide ample outdoor living space for entertaining.
Standard Pacific Homes has been building homes and neighborhoods since its founding in Southern California in 1965. The firm is currently offering new homes in major metropolitan areas in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas.
The award winning Surland Companies based in Tracy, CA has been recognized locally, regionally and nationally as a leader and innovator in the planning and design of communities and neighborhoods.
