PHOENIX—Michael J. Bartolotta, CPA, has been named executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of VEREIT Inc. Bartolotta most recently served as executive vice president and CFO for global real estate services firm, Cushman & Wakefield. A 35-year veteran of the commercial real estate and financial industries, Bartolotta has extensive experience in management, business leadership and working with boards of directors, financial institutions and investors, as well as an established track record of success in improving finance, IT and general business operations.

Rufrano noted that outgoing CFO Michael Sodo will assist with the transition, and said, “I also want to thank Mike Sodo for his contributions as he helped return the company to financial good-standing.”
In addition, Thomas W. Roberts has been named executive vice president and chief investment officer and Paul McDowell will serve as executive vice president and chief operating officer for the company's real estate segment, as a result of further management repositioning. Roberts and McDowell had been serving as VEREIT's co-heads of real estate.
VEREIT is a real estate operating company with investment management capability. VEREIT owns and actively manages a diversified portfolio of retail, restaurant, office and industrial real estate assets with a total asset book value of $19.2 billion including approximately 4,645 properties totaling 101.8 million square feet. Additionally, VEREIT manages $6.3 billion of gross real estate investments on behalf of the Cole Capital non-traded REITs.
