TEMPE, AZ—Upscale apartments with luxurious amenities are in high demand near the new Marina Heights office development, where developer Wood Partners is averaging 30 leases a month at its new Alta Tempe complex. The 296-unit community is positioned to serve residents seeking proximity to the state's largest office park when it's complete in 2017, as well as easy access to downtown and Arizona State University.

Todd Taylor, director at Wood Partners' Phoenix office, tells GlobeSt.com: "This contemporary multi-family complex offers a luxurious lifestyle and exceptional amenities that facilitate social interaction with neighbors and the community. This is why we are experiencing strong demand at Alta Tempe."

The 270,000-square-foot, four-story contemporary apartment complex designed by Womack and Hampton and built by Wood Partners includes one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom units averaging 892 square feet with granite countertops, upgraded appliances and vinyl plank flooring.

The pet-friendly community includes a fitness center and yoga deck, a resort-style pool with private cabanas and towel service, a heated spa, an 8,000-square-foot hospitality-style clubhouse with a Wi-Fi café and demonstration kitchen, a bocce ball court, an outdoor fire pit, gas grills, a bike maintenance room, a professional dog wash station, a resident-maintained vegetable garden and a four-story observation deck with views of Camelback Mountain.

“August proved to be the busiest month with an impressive 63 move-ins at Alta Tempe,” said Taylor. “The contemporary décor and well-designed floor plans appeal to residents who are seeking an authentic living experience.”

Located near downtown, Arizona State University, Alta Tempe is within walking or biking distance of two metro transit stations—and the new Marina Heights office development—which Taylor called “a big game changer in Tempe”. When it opens this winter, Marina Heights will include 2 million square feet of office space and 40,000 square feet of service retail.
