MIAMI—Michael Lanford has joined McCraney Property Company as seniorproperty manager. McCraney will keep him busy with over 2.5 million square feet currently under management in Florida and another 1.1 million square feet in the construction pipeline.

“Our largest challenge and the greatest demand from tenants is not driven by space or place but by 'face-to-face,'” McCraney, president and CEO of McCraney, tells GlobeSt.com. “We've always been guided by the principle that personal attentiveness towards our tenants in every area of their business needs is the most crucial component in attracting and retaining occupancy.”

Lanford's asset-specific solutions and financial expertise will lead the direction of the company's property management platform. In this new role, he is charged with fostering business growth with a “connectivity” strategy and proprietary technology implementation, as well as tapping into synergies between businesses at its parks.
