IRVINE CA—Auction.com has acquired Allre, an online real estate marketplace, and has hired its founder, real estate veteran Kathy Dryden as senior vice president of product strategy.

Dryden will be responsible for leading the design and development of Auction.com's new, consumer-facing residential website. She will draw from her experience at Allre and as a successful Realtor to “deliver a seamless experience to buyers, sellers and the real estate professionals they work with,” Auction.com says.
“Kathy's industry and technical expertise, along with her proven dedication to delivering an enhanced transactional experience, makes her a key player in our plans to expand our retail residential business,” said Auction.com CEO Tim Morse. “We are very pleased to have her on board, and to draw from her insights and experience.”

Dryden is a 12-year veteran of the real estate industry and has been a top producing agent in California and Nevada. She built the 71 and Sunny real estate team in San Diego, California and earned the distinction of REO listing specialist, selling distressed assets for multiple banks and investors. Dryden introduced Allre in 2012 as a transactional marketplace that allows buyers and sellers to complete entire real estate transactions online. Both she and Allre were prominently featured in 2014 at the Startup Battlefield of TechCrunch Disrupt, one of the most influential technology conferences in the world.
She holds a degree in policy, planning and real estate development from the University of Southern California and is an active alumna, regularly contributing to the Trojan Alumni Association.
