TOOELE, UT—Cabela's Incorporated has begun operations at the company's new 600,000-square-foot Tooele distribution center located at Ninigret Depot. The state-of-the-art facility processes freight and delivers products to Cabela's consumers and retail locations throughout the United States, primarily serving the Western states.

Construction on the building began in summer 2014 and Cabela's has hired more than 180 employees to staff the location. Additionally, the company expects to add more full-time, part-time and seasonal staff, most of whom will come from Tooele and the surrounding area.

“The new distribution center in Tooele will be a huge asset to Cabela's and our continued growth. It is an ideal location for us to better serve our customers throughout the Western states,” said Doug Means, Cabela's chief supply chain officer. “The Governor's Office of Economic Development, Tooele County, the city of Tooele and the Ninigret Depot executives have been outstanding to work with and we could not be more pleased with this new facility.”
