SAN ANTONIO—Dallas-based Cadence McShane Construction Co. has established a new regional office in San Antonio.

In San Antonio, the general construction and design/build services firm, which also has offices in Austin and Houston, will focus on serving its current client base in the region "while expanding its opportunities within the areas of its core market sectors including corporate end-user, industrial, multifamily, food and beverage and commercial undertakings."

"The expansion of Cadence McShane Construction into San Antonio is an exciting milestone for our firm," Srinath Pai Kasturi, LEED AP at Cadence McShane, told GlobeSt.com. "According to data from the U.S. Census Bureau, San Antonio and the surrounding area were among the fastest-growing counties in the country in 2014.

"The diversity and maturity of the market is positioned for continued growth within our firm's core market sectors, and our volume of work in the area continues to increase as a result.  Our new office will offer the local attention needed to provide our best-in-class construction services to our growing client base while expanding our opportunities throughout San Antonio and surrounding area."  

Kasturi will lead the San Antonio office.

Cadence McShane is currently involved with several high-profile assignments throughout San Antonio and the Central Texas Region including the new construction of Doerr Lane Industrial Park, a 213,864-square-foot class A speculative industrial building located in a northeast suburb of San Antonio; Vitré, a 242-unit mixed-use development in the Cattleman Square Historic District; and Villas at The Rim, a four-story, 427-unit luxury multifamily project.
