HOLMDEL, NJ—Suttons International, an international logistics company, and Spirent Communications, an international telecommunications company, have both leased space at Bell Works in Holmdel, NJ, the iconic former headquarters of Bell Laboratories.
As previously reported by GlobeSt.com, the Bell Works site, the birthplace of the transistor and other scientific breakthroughs embedded in modern smart phones and computers, is currently undergoing an approximately $200 million adaptive reuse redevelopment designed to transform the facility, owned by Somerset Development, into a dynamic mixed-use center.
Spirent Communications is taking 17,000 square feet at Bell Works, while Suttons International will occupy 5,000 square feet. Both companies' agreements contain options to expand their footprint in the building in the coming years.
