HOUSTON--Skanska USA has been awarded a$21-million contract with Texas A&M Universityto oversee the construction of the Agriculture & LifeScience Building 4. The project broke ground on November13 and it will be completed in February 2017.

"We are extremely excited to have the opportunity to continueour efforts for this fourth building for the College of Agricultureand Life Science in College Station, Josue Reyes,project executive, told GlobeSt.com. "Delivering this researchfacility for the college will represent our commitment to buildmeaningful projects in the communities where we live and work."

The new five-story, 80,000 square-foot building will house theuniversity's Department of Wildlife and FisheriesSciences. The first three floors will includeoffices, conference rooms and dry work areas. The top twofloors will include teaching and wet researchlaboratories. Kirskey Architecture is projectarchitect.
