SAN FRANCISCO—Whether a resident is looking for a quick getaway, an extra car for visiting guests or any other need, a car-sharing initiative can fit the bill. LUMINA goes several notches above the normal service with Audi at home, a premier car-sharing initiative.

LUMINA will be the first residential community on the West Coast to offer its 1,500 future residents access to luxurious, fully-equipped and ready-to-drive Audi models. The latest models are available for online booking.

Carl Shannon, regional senior managing director at Tishman Speyer, tells GlobeSt.com: "LUMINA residents will have exclusive access to the newest Audi fleet, which currently includes a TTS Cabriolet, S7, S5 Cabriolet and an RS5 for their daily errands or weekend adventures. From all-wheel drive SUVs to sporty coupes, they can order and pick up the freshly detailed vehicle in the valet lobby."

Interested residents can register through the property's concierge and use the Audi at home mobile website to reserve an Audi of choice, which is then delivered to the parking lobby by a valet. The residents simply return the Audi to the LUMINA valet at the end of their reservation. All vehicles come fully equipped with Prestige trims and the program offers dedicated 24/7 live customer care. Audi at home can be rented on an hourly or daily basis with a maximum reservation time of seven days. The rate covers costs for cleaning, fuel, insurance, FasTrak tolls and unlimited mileage. All vehicles onsite are rotated on a regular basis, ensuring residents a fresh fleet from which to choose.

LUMINA by Tishman Speyer, San Francisco's largest condominium project, is located at Main and Folsom Streets, where SoMa meets the Embarcadero. LUMINA offers 656 modern high-rise residences with dramatic views of the city and Bay, along with unique amenities such as the Audi car-share program. The project's first residents moved in last month.

"We are proud to be one of the first communities to offer this exclusive program and excited to provide this unique amenity for our residents," said Shannon.

As previously reported, sales at LUMINA began earlier this year.
