CLOSTER, NJ—Catellus Development veteran Pablo Medeiros is joining Heidenberg Properties as director of development and construction for the shopping center development company.

Medeiros has many years of experience in construction and management, most recently as project manager/consultant for Catellus Development Corporation's mixed-use development project, which included 390,000 square feet of retail and 160,000 square feet of light industrial space in New Jersey. Before that, he was site development manager and senior associate for Greenberg Farrow Architects conducting new store development projects for clients such as Walmart, Kohl's, and Home Depot.

"We are seeing tremendous opportunities to grow our portfolio organically through major re-tenanting initiatives and outlot development," says Robert Heidenberg, CEO of Heidenberg Properties. "We believe it is important to bring the talent required to manage these projects efficiently and effectively in-house. Pablo has a technical skill-set that will facilitate the success of these projects from a development and construction perspective, as well as the retail experience necessary to support revenue growth at the properties."
